From the Director....

Where oh where did this year go? 2017, was a very exciting year. We took a step of faith and were obedient and the Lord blessed us abundantly. We expanded our preschool program to full-time and it took off like crazy. We were able to fill every room and start a waiting list.

January brings a new year, with a new year for most of us means a new start. For some of us it means new resolutions such as to do a daily devotion, diet, organization, finances, study harder, etc. For most of us, we set these goals with the intent that we will be successful. However, for most us we are not successful, some will try to restart and some will give up. I want to remind you that you don’t have to wait until the first of year to start something new or pick back up. You can start new anytime, just like with God we are new each morning because of the grace we are given by our Heavenly Father!  Remember that, we can start over anytime! The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases, His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23. Amen! And for this I am thankful and blessed!

December was a busy month around the church and the preschool as we prepared for the all the services and events that took place. I want to praise our preschoolers and our teachers for all their hard work they put into the Preschool Led Advent Service. Great Job!  I also want to thank all the congregation members that helped and supported the preschool that evening with the Advent supper, THANK YOU for cooking and helping with set up and clean up!

Our joint service project and Happy Birthday Jesus Party was a huge success. We had 28 students come and partake in this event. Eleven of these children were from the Girl Scout Troop that meets here.  What a wonderful treat! We had good feedback from this event and we were told that we needed to do this again. Thank you to all the chaperones and helpers that we had to make this event wonderful. Thank you to the puppet team, you always make our events great.

Happy New Year, and may God make his face shine upon you this New Year!

Just a reminder we will return to school on Tuesday, January 9th. We will be closed on Monday, January 15th for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
