From the Director....
I can’t believe we are already in 2019!! We had such an amazing Fall semester and I cannot wait for all of the exciting things to come in the new year! This is a great time for new beginnings and resolutions. Whether you are striving to eat better, be more organized, or having time to do a daily devotion, January brings a new year and with a new year means a new start. For most of us, we set these goals with the intent that we will be successful. However, some are not successful in obtaining these goals and will give up without putting in all of their efforts. I want to remind you that you must not give up when times are hard. We need to continue to persevere through the valleys for God to show us the peaks. By his glorious grace, we begin new every single day. Psalm 121: 7-8; The LORD will keep you from all harm he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
Something new we started with this year was dispensing Blessing Bags. We are so thankful to everyone that was able to contribute items for our Blessing Bags. We were able to fill almost 30 bags and give them out to those in need. This was such an amazing experience and we plan on doing this annually.
I want to give a big thanks to all of the students and teachers in the Pre-k classroom! They did such an amazing job singing and performing for their Christmas Concert. Thank you to everyone that attended. The kids had such a great time with their friends and enjoyed getting to spend time with their family.
Happy New Year and may God make his face shine upon you this New Year!
Just a reminder we will return to school on Tuesday, January 8th. We will be closed on Monday, January 21st for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
