Start Here...

We're Glad You're Here

If you’re thinking about visiting Holy Cross, you’re in the right place. Many people who walk through our doors haven’t been in church for a while or, are just looking for a church home where they can start fresh. You don’t need to know the words, the order, or what to do. Just come as you are. On Sundays, we gather around one center: Jesus Christ. Everything we do flows from His Word and His promises.

What Sunday Morning Feels Like

If you visit, here’s what you can expect:

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by friendly people who can help you find your way. There’s no pressure and no expectations beyond being welcomed. Worship is calm, reverent, and centered on Christ. You’ll hear God’s Word read and preached clearly. Everything you need to follow along is in the bulletin or on the screen, and you can simply listen and observe if you prefer. Most people find the atmosphere peaceful and structured but not rushed or confusing.

Your First 10 Minutes Here

If it helps to know exactly what happens:

  • You’ll enter the building and be welcomed in the Plaza
  • Someone can help you find the Worship Center, restrooms, or answer any questions
  • There are activity bags for young children at the Welcome Center
  • You can sit anywhere you’d like
  • The service begins with a song and we welcome each other each morning
  • You are never put on the spot or singled out
  • It's enough to siply be present

Worship at Holy Cross

Our worship is centered on Jesus and shaped by Scripture. Each Sunday, we gather to hear God’s Word, confess the faith, pray together and celebrate the Lord's Supper.

At Holy Cross, we follow a historic pattern of Christian worship that connects us with believers across generations. This rhythm of worship is not about what we do for God, instead, it’s about receiving what God gives His people through His Word and in His Supper. The music is blended so our people benefit from the best of all music styles. If you’re new, don’t worry about keeping up. Everything is in the bulletin or on the screen, and you're free to simply observe and follow along if you like.

Children Are Welcome

Kids are always welcome in worship. We believe children are not a distraction from church, but  are an important part of the church. Jesus welcomed little children, and so do we. If your child is active or noisy, that’s okay. Many families sit together in worship. If you need to step out for a moment, you’re welcome to return at any time. We want church to be a place where your whole family can grow in faith together.

Holy Communion

At Holy Cross, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper the first, third and fifth Sundays of each month. Because we take seriously what Scripture teaches about this gift, we invite those who share our understanding of the Lord's Supper to receive Communion. If you are visiting and unaware of our understanding of the Lord's Supper, or are uncertain about what we believe, we encourage you to speak with the Pastor or an Elder before service begins.

What to Wear

Come as you are. You’ll see everything from casual clothing to more formal dress. What matters most is not your appearance, but that you hear God’s Word and receiving His gifts.

Where We Are

We are located in Arlington, Texas, near the corner of Arkansas Lane and Woodside Drive. If you’re looking for a church in Arlington, we'd love to meet you this Sunday.

Before You Arrive

You don’t need to be ready or understand everything. You don’t need to have been in church recently. Just come and let Jesus meet you where you are. We’ll take the next step together from there.
